Chicago rapper BloodHound Q50 fatally shot at gas station

Chicago drill rapper BloodHound Q50, born Mikquale Cooper, was fatally shot at a gas station in the Fuller Park neighborhood early Sunday morning. The 22-year-old was sitting in a white 2019 Tesla at a BP station on South Wentworth Avenue when two vehicles pulled alongside him and multiple gunmen opened fire.

Reports indicate that as many as six shooters fired more than 50 rounds, striking Cooper in the chest and shoulder. The assailants fled the scene in a black Acura sedan and a silver Honda Accord. While the Chicago Police Department has launched a homicide investigation, no arrests have been made.

Following the incident, Cooper’s mother, Machetta Dudley, addressed the tragedy on social media, responding to online criticism and trolls by defending her son’s character. The shooting has drawn significant attention from the local hip-hop community, highlighting the ongoing issue of gun violence affecting young artists in the Chicago drill scene.
