Chicago Stars FC defeat Racing Louisville 3-2

Chicago Stars FC ended a seven-match winless streak with a 3-2 victory over Racing Louisville. The win was fueled by goals from Jameese Joseph, Mallory Swanson, and Julia Grosso.

Joseph opened the scoring in the 34th minute following a run by Swanson. Racing Louisville equalized through a Taylor Flint header in the 49th minute, but Swanson regained the lead for the Stars in the 62nd minute. After Makenna Morris leveled the score for Racing six minutes later, Julia Grosso secured the win for Chicago in the 83rd minute.

Defender Michelle Alozie made a notable return to the starting lineup following her international duty with Nigeria. Alozie recorded a game-high 72 touches and provided an assist, contributing significantly to the team's attacking transitions and build-up play.
