Chicago Triplets record first loss amid BIG3 Week 6 scoring feats

In Week 6 of the 2026 BIG3 season, the Chicago Triplets suffered their first defeat, losing 52‑49 to the Detroit Amps after Nasir Core’s 24‑point effort sparked the upset.

Earl Clark became the league’s all‑time leading scorer, reaching 706 points and overtaking Joe Johnson. Montrezl Harrell continued his scoring run with 34 points and 13 rebounds, while the Power team clinched a playoff berth, matching the Chicago Triplets’ 5‑1 record. Lance Stephenson posted a double‑double for Miami 305, hitting two consecutive four‑pointers.

The week saw several 20‑point performances, eliminated the league’s unbeaten and winless teams, and set the stage for the final stretch of the playoff push.
