Chicago White Sox reliever Sean Newcomb nears 100-inning milestone

Chicago White Sox reliever Sean Newcomb is approaching a milestone, having pitched 83 innings in relief. If he reaches 100 innings this season, he will be the first White Sox reliever to achieve back-to-back seasons of 100+ relief innings since 1998 and 1999.

In recent fan polling regarding the 2026 World Series, the Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers emerged as the predicted matchup. The results also indicated that the New York Yankees received more credit as potential pennant winners than the leaders of the AL Central and West divisions.
