Chick-fil-A announces new locations in Ohio and New Jersey

Chick-fil-A is expanding its presence in Ohio and New Jersey through new restaurant developments.

A new Chick-fil-A location is scheduled to open in Athens, Ohio, on October 15, 2026. Sheldon Allen has been named the local Owner-Operator. To mark the opening, the company is providing a $25,000 donation to support local hunger relief efforts in Southeast Ohio. The restaurant will be located at 951 E State St. and will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, and third-party delivery services.

In Toms River, New Jersey, the Toms River Planning Board has approved the construction of a new Chick-fil-A at the Ocean County Mall. The project involves demolishing the vacant Bahama Breeze restaurant site to build a new facility featuring a drive-thru lane. This will be the first Chick-fil-A location in Toms River.
