Chiclana and Antilla implement new public lighting projects

Chiclana has approved an investment of over 152,000 euros to install new public lighting in the Coto La Campa urbanization. The project, awarded to Futurgy Soluciones Energéticas SL, will cover streets including La Caballa, La Marisma, and El Jurel, as well as the Vereda Cádiz-Conil. The works are expected to be completed within two months.

In Antilla, the ‘Ciudad Alumbrada’ project continues to expand using solar-powered lamps. Currently, 35 lamps have been installed, with an additional 27 prepared for deployment. The initiative involves local businesses, cooperatives, and self-employed workers who install lighting near their premises to improve visibility and security. Local authorities are providing guidance to residents and businesses seeking credit to purchase equipment as the project aims to reach all seven districts of the municipality.
