Chiclana and Becerril de la Sierra host candle‑lit night festivals

The municipality of Chiclana will stage its fourth "Noche de las Velas" on the night of 30 July, illuminating the historic centre with more than 7,000 candles. The route will begin at Calle Rosa, pass the archaeological interpretation centre Nueva Gadeira, and finish at Plaza de España, with live music and performances intended to attract visitors and boost local commerce.

In the neighbouring town of Becerril de la Sierra, the 16th edition of "La Noche en Vela" took place on 18 July. Hundreds of candles lit the streets while a programme of music, circus acts, disco sets and a travelling Steam Brass Band entertained attendees. The event also featured a craft market, exhibitions and themed photo‑calls, highlighting local culture and community participation.
