Chiclana home care workers announce series of strikes

Workers of the Home Care Service in Chiclana have announced a series of strikes following months of unresolved labor disputes with the City Council. The workers' committee expressed deep dissatisfaction, noting that previous protests and demonstrations have failed to produce satisfactory solutions.

The primary grievances include the failure to respect the mandatory 48-hour weekly rest period, salary deficits, and a loss of purchasing power. Additionally, workers are demanding that continuous part-time shifts be carried out in accordance with the established collective bargaining agreement.

Scheduled strike dates include September 7, October 5, November 9, and December 14.
