Fiesta de la Parpuja flamenco Paco Cepero Chiclana Spanish culture

The traditional Fiesta de la Parpuja is returning to the Plaza Mayor in Chiclana this Friday at 21:00. This edition of the flamenco festival is dedicated to honoring the guitarist Paco Cepero.

The event features performances by Duquende, Granaino, Remedios Reyes, and José Galvín. Guitarists Antonio de Patrocinio, Julio Romero, and Rafael Gallo will provide accompaniment, with Juan Ramón Reyes appearing as a guest solo guitarist. The dance portion will be led by María Tavora and her troupe, with the event presented by Juan Garrido.

Chiclana Mayor José María Román noted the strong connection between Paco Cepero and the town, highlighting the festival's successful recent format in the Plaza Mayor.
