Chiclana launches campaign for pet waste cleanliness

The Chiclana City Council, through Chiclana Natural and the Animal Welfare Delegation, has launched a new awareness campaign to encourage pet owners to clean up canine waste and urine in public spaces. Using the slogan ‘Si pudiera hablar… te lo diría’ (If I could speak… I would tell you), the initiative features an image of a dog to promote responsible pet ownership and maintain urban cleanliness.

To support the campaign, 2,000 rollable bottles for cleaning urine will be distributed. Officials noted that the campaign addresses issues caused by irresponsible owners rather than the animals themselves. The initiative also involved collaboration with the association Apodi, representing people with reduced mobility, to ensure the campaign's message resonates with all citizens.
