Chiclana opens Marilyn Monroe centennial exhibit and 'Caballo de pobre' art show

The Museum of Chiclana inaugurated a new exhibition titled “Marilyn 100 years. In memoriam” to mark the 100th anniversary of the American actress’s birth. The exhibit, opened by municipal culture delegate Susana Rivas and museum director Jesús Romero, will remain open to the public until 21 June and includes a conference on 29 May. It aims to highlight the woman behind the star, featuring memorabilia from Monroe’s film career.

Meanwhile, the Casa de Cultura in Chiclana launched the “Caballo de pobre” exhibition, showcasing paintings by local artist Manuel Cano. The show is scheduled to run until 29 May. Both exhibitions underscore Chiclana’s active cultural programming this spring.
