Chiclana Orange Zone revenue increases by 17.2% in summer 2026

Revenue from the Orange Zone in Chiclana reached 1,639,933.60 euros during the summer of 2026, marking a 17.2% increase compared to the same period in 2025. This represents an absolute growth of 241,124.23 euros.

The most significant growth occurred in August, which saw revenues of 624,995.87 euros, up from 524,360.99 euros the previous year. June also showed strong performance, with an increase of 87,304 euros over June 2025.

A new feature contributing to the total was the ability to purchase bonds prior to the start of the regulation period, which generated approximately 55,000 euros. Funds collected from the Orange Zone are used for beach maintenance, seasonal service costs, and supporting tourism activities.
