Collegiate soccer results: Chico State and San Diego State secure wins

Various collegiate soccer matches took place recently involving Chico State, Menlo College, San Diego State, and Northern Colorado.

In women’s soccer, Chico State defeated Menlo 2-0 to start conference play, with Makayla Quesada and Baylee Gregerson scoring. In men’s soccer, Menlo College overcame an early two-goal deficit to secure a 2-2 draw against Chico State, featuring goals from Tim Schwarz and Hugo Few. Additionally, the Chico State men’s team played to a 1-1 draw against Cal State East Bay after Simon Vaca-Lorenzi scored a penalty.

In San Diego, the San Diego State women’s soccer team earned a dominant 5-0 victory over Northern Colorado. The Aztecs’ scoring was led by Kenny Moore, Katie Senn, KK Chowana-Bandhu, Briahna Gieger, and Naima Castro.
