Chico to be honored at Hurghada Youth Cinema Festival

The Hurghada Youth Cinema Festival has announced that it will honor the actor and writer Chico during the opening ceremony of its fourth edition. The event is scheduled to take place this coming Thursday at the Hurghada Culture Palace.

The recognition celebrates Chico’s diverse career, which includes approximately 15 films such as ‘Samir and Shaheer and Bahir’ and ‘The Third World War,’ as well as successful television series like ‘Al-La’ba.’ Festival president Mohamed El-Basousi noted that the honor aims to celebrate artists with distinct artistic projects, describing Chico as one of the most prominent figures in this category.

Festival director Qadri El-Haggar highlighted Chico’s evolution from his early success as part of a comedic trio with Hisham Magdy and Ahmed Fahmy to his subsequent achievements as a solo lead and in various artistic duos.
