Chidinma Okeke joins Napoli Women on two-year deal

Napoli Women have announced the signing of Nigerian international defender Chidinma Okeke on a two-year contract. The 26-year-old joins the Italian club from the Mexican side America Femenil, with the agreement set to keep her at Napoli through the end of the 2027-28 season.

Okeke arrives in Italy following two successful seasons in Mexico, where she helped America Femenil win the CONCACAF Champions Cup during the 2025/26 season. Prior to her time in Mexico, she played for the Japanese club Mynavi Sendai Ladies.

A veteran of the Nigerian national team, Okeke has represented the Super Falcons at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Her international career also includes appearances at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
