Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to visit Bihar

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar will undertake a two-day visit to Bihar on August 16 and 17, accompanied by a high-level delegation from the Election Commission of India. The delegation includes senior officials such as Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Manish Garg, Director General (Media) Ashish Goyal, and Director General (IT) Dr. Seema Khanna.

On August 17, the Chief Election Commissioner is scheduled to hold a dialogue with approximately 500 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) at the Sushma Swaraj Auditorium of Nalanda University. This interaction aims to discuss ground-level challenges and methods to make the electoral process more effective and accessible.

Additionally, a one-day conference regarding the Election Literacy Club 2.0 and ECI-NET will be held at Gyan Bhavan in Patna. The event will feature thousands of participants, including students, teachers, and heads of over 400 educational institutions from Bihar. High-ranking state officials, including the Chief Secretary and various department secretaries, are expected to attend.
