Chiesa di Milano releases liturgical readings for the 20th week of Ordinary Time

The Church of Milan has provided the liturgical readings for the Friday of the 20th week of Ordinary Time.

The readings include a passage from the Book of Ezekiel (37:1-14) regarding the vision of the valley of dry bones and the promise of spiritual life. Other texts feature the Book of Isaiah (22:19-23) concerning the appointment of Eliakim, a Psalm of thanksgiving (Psalm 137), and a passage from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Romans (11:33-36) discussing the depth of God's wisdom. The Gospel reading is taken from the Gospel of Matthew (16:13-20), where Jesus questions his disciples about his identity in the region of Caesarea Philippi.
