Chiesi Group reports 1.89 billion euros in H1 2026 revenue
Chiesi Group has reported consolidated revenues of 1.89 billion euros for the first half of 2026, representing a 3.6% increase at constant exchange rates compared to the same period in 2025.
Growth was primarily driven by the global expansion of the rare diseases therapeutic area, which saw a 9.9% increase, alongside solid performance in neonatology and specialty care. While the respiratory health sector remained largely stable with a slight decrease of 0.8%, growth in triple-combination inhalation therapies helped offset this. Geographically, the company saw significant growth in the United States (+9.6%) and resilient results in Europe.
Regarding strategic developments, Chiesi completed the acquisition of the U.S.-based KalVista Pharmaceuticals to strengthen its rare disease portfolio. The company also invested 426 million euros in research and development, accounting for 22.5% of its revenue. Additionally, Chiesi is advancing its Carbon Minimal Inhaler platform through a strategic partnership with Bespak to reduce the carbon footprint of its respiratory products.
