Chieti schools receive 30,000 euros for sports facilities

A decree issued by President Francesco Menna has approved additional funding of approximately 30,291 euros for sports and motor activity spaces in schools across the Province of Chieti. These funds are derived from tender savings following previous interventions at twenty institutions.

The second phase of works will benefit seven specific schools: IIS Luigi di Savoia (Chieti), IIS Pomilio-Galiani-Sterlich (Chieti), Liceo Scientifico G. Galilei (Lanciano), IIS Vittorio Emanuele II (Lanciano), IIS De Titta-Fermi (Lanciano), IIS Da Vinci-De Giorgio (Lanciano), and IIS E. Mattei (Vasto). The project involves installing certified sports equipment and ensuring the safety of multi-functional spaces.

This initiative is financed through the Sport Promotion Fund. The Abruzzo Region has allocated a total of 555,066 euros across the four regional provinces to encourage physical activity, improve psychological and physical well-being, and promote social inclusion for youth.
