The Chihuahua State and Municipal governments have announced the closing of the ‘FICH FICUU for Chihuahuan artists’ call for entries. The registration deadline is Monday, August 31, at 12:00 PM.

The initiative aims to support local talent for the 2026 Chihuahua State International Festival (FICH) and the Chihuahua City International Festival (FICUU). Eligible disciplines include music, dance, theater, visual arts, cinematography, and interdisciplinary projects.

Economic incentives vary by participation type: 10,000 pesos for individual stage proposals, 20,000 pesos for group proposals of up to five people or film, and 30,000 pesos for groups exceeding five people. Selected artists will participate in festivals scheduled from October 1 to 18, 2026, in Chihuahua and Ciudad Juárez.
