Chihuahua authorities arrest man for fatal land dispute in Julimes

Authorities from the Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI) have arrested a 78-year-old man, identified as Andrés A. M., in connection with a fatal dispute over land in Julimes. The arrest took place on Tuesday, August 11, in the locality of Orinda, within the municipality of Rosales, with assistance from municipal police.

The suspect faces charges of qualified homicide and causing injuries. He is being investigated for the August 6 death of 62-year-old Armando O. M. and injuries inflicted upon 34-year-old Isaac O. M. The individual has been placed at the disposal of the Ministerio Público in the Meoqui region for further investigation.
