Chihuahua authorities confirm triple homicide in UP neighborhood

The Chihuahua State Attorney General's Office has confirmed that three people were killed in a shooting at a residence in the UP neighborhood, south of Chihuahua City. While initial reports indicated two victims, forensic processing of the scene revealed a third fatality.

Authorities have identified two of the victims as 38-year-old María Magdalena M. A. and 23-year-old Juan Pablo F. M., both residents of the sector. The third victim is an elderly man whose identity has not yet been established.

Investigators recovered 9mm shell casings at the scene. The State Investigation Agency is continuing its inquiry to determine the motive and identify those responsible for the attack. No arrests have been reported.
