Chihuahua authorities seize abandoned tanker with 9,600 liters of gasoline

State Police and the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA) seized an abandoned tanker truck containing approximately 9,600 liters of regular gasoline in Las Moras, Chihuahua.

During surveillance patrols on a dirt road, officers discovered a white 1990 International model tanker left without occupants. An inspection revealed a strong odor of hydrocarbons, and subsequent testing confirmed the tank held over 9,600 liters of fuel, valued at approximately 230,794 pesos.

The vehicle was transferred to Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) for safekeeping, and the case has been placed at the disposal of the Attorney General's Office (FGR) for investigation.
