Chihuahua Capital launches “Yo Segura” safety app for women

The municipal government of Chihuahua Capital, through the Municipal Institute for Women (IMM), has promoted the “Yo Segura” application to enhance safety for women. The free app, available on Android and iOS, features an emergency button that connects users directly to the Municipal Police for rapid response.

To improve accessibility, the application includes high-contrast graphics and tools for women with visual disabilities. Users can also register disability-related information to ensure more tailored assistance from the Municipal Public Security Directorate during emergency situations.
