Chihuahua city unveils 2026 Industrial Guide to attract investment
The municipal government of Chihuahua presented the "Guía de la Industria de Chihuahua Capital 2026", a digital tool compiled by CANACINTRA Chihuahua with support from the Directorate of Economic Development and Competitiveness. It aggregates data on local companies, productive sectors, industrial capacities and other information useful for investors, suppliers and business partners. Director José Jordán Orozco highlighted that the guide reflects a collaborative effort among government, industry, academia and business organisations to improve conditions for investment and strengthen supply chains.
CANACINTRA Chihuahua president Sergio Gramer Quiñónez said reliable information shortens the gap between opportunity and decision, noting that the capital hosts more than 3,000 firms, a network of suppliers and specialised talent. He added that foreign direct investment in the state reached roughly $1.5 billion in 2024. The guide is available for download on CANACINTRA’s website and the municipal government’s online channels, aiming to boost local employment, support micro‑, small‑ and medium‑sized enterprises, and position Chihuahua as a leading industrial hub in Mexico.
