Chihuahua Congress reduces property value review times by 80%

The Chihuahua State Congress has implemented a new digital platform that has reduced the time required to receive and review Unit Value Tables for Land and Construction by 80 percent. These tables, submitted annually by municipalities, serve as the essential reference for determining cadastral values and calculating property taxes.

PAN Deputy Jorge Soto Prieto reported that the technological tool allowed all 67 municipalities in Chihuahua to submit their proposals before the October 20 deadline. The platform was developed through coordinated efforts between the Congress technical staff, the IT department, and the Technical Secretariat of the Programming, Budget, and Public Finance Commission.
