Chihuahua Congress Schedules Extraordinary Session for June 22
The Permanent Deputation of the Chihuahua state Congress convened an extraordinary meeting (Octavo Periodo Extraordinario) on Monday, 22 June, at 10:30 a.m. The session will be held in the Legislative building and also accessible remotely.
Agenda items include: a proposal by the Political Coordination Board to designate the official venue for future sessions in the municipalities of Guachochi (6 July) and Hidalgo del Parral (17 July); a decree on forming parliamentary groups for the 68th Legislature; the Health Commission’s draft to amend the State Administrative Code and the law governing child‑care services to guarantee guardería for state employees; the Fiscal Commission’s report concluding the review of the 2024 public‑account audit; the Indigenous Peoples Commission’s series of decrees to reform statutes on indigenous rights; and three draft reforms to electoral regulations from the Governance and Constitutional Points Commission.
