Chihuahua Culture Secretariat chooses 60 projects for 2026 Eká Fiscal Stimulus

The Secretaría de Cultura of Chihuahua announced the selection of 60 projects to receive monetary support under the 2026 Eká Fiscal Stimulus for culture and the arts. Winners come from eight municipalities – Bocoyna, Camargo, Chihuahua, Cuauhtémoc, Juárez, Nuevo Casas Grandes, Parral and Saucillo – and are distributed across multiple categories: eight interdisciplinary art projects, five visual‑arts, two dance, six music, seven theatre, four material‑heritage, four intangible‑heritage, ten cultural‑infrastructure, three literature, one research and ten public‑training initiatives.

The program channels the state payroll tax (ISN) toward cultural initiatives, linking the cultural sector with the business community. The state government congratulated the beneficiaries and directed the public to the full list of projects on the official website.
