Chihuahua fatal collision leaves one dead and three injured

A fatal head-on collision occurred Tuesday night on the Libramiento Oriente at kilometer 21, on the stretch leading toward Ciudad Juárez in Chihuahua.

A Nissan Tsuru lost control and struck a white Nissan Sentra driven by a woman approximately 70 years of age. The driver of the Sentra died almost instantly from the impact. Three other individuals sustained injuries in the crash.

Paramedics from the Cruz Roja provided first aid and transported the injured to a hospital. Local municipal and traffic police, along with personnel from the Mexican Army, secured the area, which caused significant traffic congestion. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident and establish responsibility.
