Chihuahua hosts Northwest Region Controllers Assembly
Chihuahua hosted the Second Ordinary Assembly 2026 of the Northwest Region of the Permanent Commission of State-Federation Controllers (CPCE-F). The event brought together representatives from Chihuahua, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sinaloa, and Sonora to strengthen collaborative work and share experiences.
During the assembly, the Secretary of Public Function, Roberto Javier Fierro Duarte, emphasized that institutional trust is built through honest decision-making. He highlighted the progress of a three-year project: the Comprehensive Methodology for the Preparation of Internal Regulations and Organic Statutes. This project has transitioned into a self-managed, interactive course for public servants, with registrations opening in August, the platform launching in September, and a virtual workshop scheduled for October.
Additional sessions included a presentation by State Auditor Héctor Acosta on opportunities within the National Audit System, and an analysis by Magistrate Alejandro Tavares regarding the right to appeal following the tenth anniversary of the General Law of Administrative Responsibilities.
