Chihuahua invests 11.5 million pesos in AI and manufacturing talent program in Taiwan

The Chihuahua State Government, through the Secretariat of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE) and Inadet, has launched the second generation of the “Development of Chihuahuan Talents in Taiwan” program. With an investment of 11.5 million pesos, 15 students will receive specialized training in Smart Manufacturing Automation and Artificial Intelligence.

The participants will spend one semester at the Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, followed by a two-week internship at the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). The curriculum covers advanced topics including smart manufacturing, automated optical inspection, mechatronic integration, and Artificial Intelligence applied to the Internet of Things.

This initiative follows a successful first generation of 22 students, many of whom have already entered the local industry. The program aims to provide cutting-edge knowledge to enhance regional productivity and prepare professionals for modern industrial challenges.
