Chihuahua man dies after electric shock from transformer

A man died following an electric shock while attempting to connect transformer blades on a rooftop in the Independencia neighborhood of Chihuahua, Mexico. The incident occurred at the intersection of Granada and Membrillos streets.

Paramedics from the State Government Rescue Unit (URGE) arrived at the scene and performed multiple cycles of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but were unable to revive the victim. Firefighters assisted in retrieving the body from the rooftop due to the location of the accident.

Municipal police cordoned off the area to preserve the scene while the State Attorney General's Office conducted an investigation. Forensic services later transported the body for an autopsy to officially determine the cause of death.
