Chihuahua man sentenced to two years for violence against father

A man has been sentenced to two years in prison in Chihuahua for committing family violence and unlawful imprisonment against his father.

According to the Central Zone District Prosecutor's Office, Florencio Pablo A. L. admitted responsibility through an abbreviated procedure. The investigation revealed that the defendant exerted psychological and moral violence against the elderly victim at a residence in the CDP neighborhood. The defendant reportedly destroyed objects, threatened the victim with knives, and locked him in a room for several hours until the victim managed to escape.
