Chihuahua Mayor Marco Bonilla Provides Construction Materials to Fire‑Victim Family
The municipal government of Chihuahua, through its Directorate of Human Development and Education, delivered a kit of concrete blocks to the Terrazas family to build a four‑wall room after their home was destroyed by a fire on 28 May. The assistance was provided under the city’s “Materials for Self‑Construction Donation” program, launched by Mayor Marco Bonilla. Sandra Terrazas, the family’s daughter, thanked the mayor, saying the municipal government “keeps its promises” and helped the family begin rebuilding. The program aims to support vulnerable households by supplying building materials for new or expanded housing.
