Chihuahua, Mexico opens traffic circle on Aldama‑Fuerza Aérea bridge

The Municipal Public Works Department of Chihuahua opened circulation on the roundabout that forms part of the overpass at the intersection of the Chihuahua‑Aldama highway and Fuerza Aérea Avenue. The new oval‑shaped roundabout, 255 metres in circumference and 81 metres in diameter, eliminates traffic lights and allows continuous flow in both directions, cutting travel times and improving road safety.

The project, championed by Mayor Marco Bonilla, is still under construction; final structural details, signage and complementary actions remain to be completed before full delivery. Drivers are urged to observe posted signs, respect speed limits and exercise caution while the remaining works are finished.
