Chihuahua Municipal Government conducts emergency cardiac training

The Municipal Government of Chihuahua, through the Municipal Institute for Prevention and Health Care (IMPAS), is conducting ongoing training for its personnel in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED). The program is designed to strengthen immediate response capabilities during cardiac emergencies, teaching staff to identify cardiac arrest and perform life-saving maneuvers before emergency services arrive.

Designated cardioprotected spaces in the city include the Municipal Presidency, various police commands, the Hotel Quality Inn, Plaza del Mariachi, the 28th Street Fire Station, and several other public and municipal locations. In the event of an emergency, officials recommend calling 9-1-1, initiating CPR, and locating the nearest AED.
