Mexican municipalities implement diverse public works and security measures

Various municipal governments in Mexico are implementing diverse public works and security initiatives. In Panotla, Mayor Idelfonso Carro Roldán is overseeing infrastructure projects including a new rehabilitation center, road renovations, and a new police station with investments exceeding 42 million pesos.

In Monclova, Mayor Carlos Villarreal is managing over 10 million pesos in infrastructure, focusing on water networks, drainage, and street paving. Recent efforts included repairing 602 potholes and maintaining public lighting and schools.

In Ahome, Mayor Antonio Menéndez De Llano Bermúdez announced the transfer of the Teatro Ingenio for municipal administration and coordinated security operations for the new school year. Meanwhile, in Matamoros, Mayor Beto Granados reported repairing over 300 drainage failures.

Other regional actions include the Destilichadero program in Chihuahua to manage large-scale waste, the relocation of over 2,000 abandoned vehicles in Saltillo via Operativo Bronce, and educational dialogue in Chihuahua regarding teacher placement processes.
