Chihuahua municipal government modernizes services through digital platforms

The municipal government of Chihuahua, led by Mayor Marco Bonilla, has modernized its administrative services through digital platforms. The Ventanilla Virtual (Virtual Window) has processed over 21,000 requests, representing a 66 percent increase compared to the previous year. The platform currently has more than 18,000 registered users.

Key improvements include the full digitalization of the Supplier Registry, allowing for online documentation and the use of SAT electronic signatures. Additionally, a new Multi-procedure Window for Urban Development and Ecology has been launched, integrating 49 different procedures into a single system. The Rapid Business Opening System is now 100 percent digital and holds the PROSARE certification from the National Commission for Regulatory Improvement.

To ensure integrity, the municipality has maintained its ISO 37001 International Certification for its Anti-Bribery Management System, which was updated in 2026.
