Chihuahua municipal government presents children's poetry book and literary talk

The Municipal Government of Chihuahua, through its Institute of Culture, invited the public to two free cultural events in early August.

On August 4, a presentation of the children's poetry book “Hay un gato en mi sopa” by author Janeth Rogelio was held at the Biblioteca Pública Municipal Fundadores. The book features playful poems about cats and encourages families to explore poetry together.

The following day, August 5, a talk titled “De la crueldad y lo sagrado, viaje épico‑mítico de Antonin Artaud en la Tarahumara” was delivered by writer Renée Acosta at the Biblioteca Municipal Miguel de Cervantes. The discussion examined Artaud’s journey among the Rarámuri people and its impact on his literary work. Both events were free and open to the public.
