Chihuahua Municipal Sports Registry to set up mobile modules

The Municipal Institute of Physical Culture and Sport (IMCFD) in Chihuahua is installing mobile modules to facilitate the free registration for the Municipal Sports Registry. This initiative provides athletes with an official identification card that grants access to discounts and promotions at over 70 participating businesses and establishments.

Temporary modules will be available at the Sur Sports Center in the Vistas Cerro Grande corridor until October 28, and at the Deportivo Niño Espino from November 3 to November 6. Permanent registration modules remain available at the Tricentenario Sports Center and the Luis H. Álvarez Polideportivo.

The program aims to census the number of athletes and physically active individuals in the municipality, tracking their training locations and disciplines. Since its launch in 2022, the registry has documented more than 90 different sports and physical activities across urban and rural areas.
