Chihuahua municipal syndic presents eighth labor report

Olivia Franco, the municipal syndic of Chihuahua, has presented her eighth labor report, detailing the results of the office’s surveillance, fiscalization, and territorial presence. During her presentation, Franco called upon the City Council to advance pending legislative initiatives, specifically the ‘Municipio Verde’ (Green Municipality) and ‘Fraccionamientos al 100%’ (100% Subdivisions) proposals.

The ‘Municipio Verde’ initiative aims to strengthen the local environment by increasing green spaces, combating heat islands, and regulating municipal nurseries. The ‘Fraccionamientos al 100%’ initiative seeks to provide legal certainty to families living in approximately 90 urban developments that are nearly complete, allowing these neighborhoods to access municipal benefits and participatory budgeting.

Additionally, Franco reported on the ‘Sindicatura en tu Colonia’ program, which conducted 1,042 visits across 42 neighborhoods, including homes and businesses. The report noted an 87% satisfaction rate regarding municipal public services among those consulted.
