Chihuahua newborn airlifted for emergency medical care
A newborn baby experiencing respiratory difficulties was emergency-transferred via helicopter from Ciudad Juarez to the state capital of Chihuahua to receive specialized medical care.
The aeromedical operation was coordinated by the Chihuahua State Government through the State Civil Protection Coordination, the State Public Security Secretariat, and the State Health Secretariat. The infant was transported from the Hospital Infantil de Ciudad Juarez aboard a Bell 429 helicopter, landing near the Héctor Espino Monumental Stadium.
Following the landing, paramedics from the State Government Rescue Unit (URGE) completed the transfer by land to the Hospital Infantil de Especialidades in Chihuahua.
