Chihuahua offers 40% discount on state professional licenses

The Chihuahua State Government, through the State Directorate of Professions, has announced a 40 percent discount on state professional license procedures throughout October. This initiative aims to encourage professionals to regularize their documentation and provide greater certainty to citizens regarding the validity of specialized services.

Currently, only about 115,000 of the approximately 315,000 professionals actively practicing in Chihuahua hold a state license. The discount applies to title registration, the issuance and duplication of licenses, and authorizations for expert witnesses (peritos).

Specific discounted rates for October include 318 pesos for technical levels, 396 pesos for bachelor's degrees, and 475 pesos for master's and doctoral degrees. The Directorate also noted that it conducts verification processes for both domestic and foreign degrees to prevent the practice of professions by individuals with unrecognized credentials.
