Chihuahua promotes tourism in France and Spain

The Chihuahua Secretariat of Tourism and the ¡Ah Chihuahua! Tourism Promotion Trust conducted international promotional activities in Chamonix, France, and Barcelona, Spain, to strengthen the state's presence in global markets.

In Chamonix, officials promoted hotels from Chihuahua's capital and the Sierra region to participants of the Ultra-Trail de Mont-Blanc. During this period, work meetings were held regarding the ‘Chihuahua by UTMB’ event, scheduled for October 1–3 in the Sierra de Chihuahua.

In Barcelona, a destination presentation was held for 60 tour operators from Catalonia and southern Spain. The event showcased Chihuahua's tourism offerings and local gastronomy to build commercial links ahead of the 2027 Madrid International Tourism Fair (FITUR). As a result of these efforts, 15 operators from the Spanish wholesale agency Avasa have been invited to visit Chihuahua during the Mexican Independence celebrations.
