Chihuahua SCOP accelerates Los Arcos underpass construction

The Chihuahua Secretariat of Communications and Public Works (SCOP) has accelerated night shifts for the construction of the Los Arcos and Tecnológico underpass in northern Chihuahua. The project is utilizing a continuous three-shift work schedule to reduce execution timelines and minimize vehicular impact in the area.

During a recent inspection, SCOP official Jorge Chanez supervised the pouring of the floor foundation slab in sections 1 and 2 of the main box. Technical teams verified the pouring of 560 cubic meters of concrete, totaling over 1,300 tons, for a structure measuring 40 meters long, 20 meters wide, and 70 centimeters thick.

Additional simultaneous work fronts include the pouring and assembly of screen walls, column detailing, and the installation of reinforced earth stairs on the access ramps.
