Chihuahua selects 60 cultural projects for Eká 2026 tax‑incentive program

The Chihuahua state Secretariat of Culture announced the results of the Eká 2026 fiscal stimulus for culture and the arts, selecting 60 projects to receive monetary support.

The awarded projects come from the municipalities of Bocoyna, Camargo, Chihuahua, Cuauhtémoc, Juárez, Nuevo Casas Grandes, Parral and Saucillo and span categories such as interdisciplinary art, visual arts, dance, music, theatre, material and intangible heritage conservation, cultural infrastructure, literature, research and public training.

Funding is provided through the redirection of the payroll tax (ISN), linking the cultural sector with the private sector to finance the initiatives.
