Chihuahua SEyD launches school coexistence strategy
The Chihuahua Secretariat of Education and Sports (SEyD) has launched a strategy to promote harmonious school coexistence for the 2026-2027 academic cycle. The initiative will span 11 educational regions across the state, including Ciudad Juárez, Delicias, and Cuauhtémoc.
The program consists of three stages involving normative analysis, teacher training, and follow-up. It aims to strengthen a peaceful environment in schools through the implementation of several key frameworks, such as the Unique Protocol for the Prevention and Attention of Violence against Children and Adolescents and the Local Framework for School Coexistence.
Additionally, the strategy includes guidelines for conflict resolution within the educational sector and a Teacher Protection Protocol designed to provide legal certainty and support to educators in the performance of their duties.
