Chihuahua State Congress opens call for Women's Parliament 2026

The Chihuahua State Congress has opened the call for the ‘Women's Parliament 2026’. The initiative aims to select 33 women to present legislative proposals focused on equality, women's rights, and the eradication of violence.

Participants must be residents of Chihuahua, at least 18 years old, and must not have participated in previous editions. The selection process will prioritize diversity, including indigenous women, women with disabilities, and members of the LGBT community. Registration is open from September 15 to October 15, 2026, via the Congress's microsite. The solemn session of the Parliament is scheduled for November 2026.
