DIF Estatal launches ‘Juntos contra el Frío’ jacket donation campaign

The Chihuahua State DIF has launched the sixth edition of its ‘Juntos contra el Frío’ (Together Against the Cold) campaign. The initiative aims to collect 37,500 new or excellent-condition jackets to support children and adolescents in vulnerable situations.

The donations will primarily benefit those living in the Sierra Tarahumara region and the border zone. The collection period runs from September 10 to November 30, with designated collection centers located in Chihuahua City and Ciudad Juárez.

In previous years, the campaign has successfully gathered over 147,000 jackets and nearly 60 tons of food. In 2025, the program reached a record of 39,238 jackets and 10 tons of food.
