Chihuahua State Judiciary suspends activities for national holidays

The Superior Court of Justice of the State of Chihuahua has suspended jurisdictional and administrative activities from September 14 to September 16. This recess commemorates the Public Official Day, the Independence Day celebrations, and the start of the armed movement.

During this period, procedural terms and deadlines for filing motions, resources, or complying with requirements are paused and will resume on the next business day. The Judiciary will maintain on-call personnel to handle urgent matters, such as bond hearings and reviews of precautionary measures.

Normal activities are scheduled to resume on Thursday, September 17. However, a scheduled emergency drill will take place that morning from 9:30 to 11:30, which will temporarily interrupt work for the more than 3,500 employees.
